The rack mount includes a DIN Rail Adapter that helps in mounting and installing the switch on to the DIN rail which serves as a sturdy and standardized platform for organizing and managing switches along with other control and automation equipment within an industrial control panel or equipment rack.

The rail adapter is made from cold rolled carbon steel with a chrome finish. The adapter provides a secure and standardized method of attaching the Cisco STK-RACKMNT-2955 switch in industrial control systems, terminal blocks, power supplies, or other components, to the DIN rail. The adapter ensures proper alignment, stability, and organization of equipment within industrial or automation environments.
