Why sell to Prology?

Quote within 1 business day

Sell outright or trade in
Take the payment, or use the value as credit against your next Prology order.
What condition we accept
Tell us the condition per line; it changes the price, not whether we buy.
| Condition | Accepted | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| New, sealed | Yes | Original packaging, unopened. Best prices. |
| Used, working | Yes | Tested or removed from a working system. Please note any cosmetic damage. |
| Pulled, untested | Yes, by lot | Quoted per lot; price assumes a normal failure rate. |
| Faulty | By lot, some categories | Servers, switches, routers, storage arrays and GPUs for parts or repair. We do not buy faulty RAM or CPUs. |
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about selling your hardware to Prology.
Do you wipe data from drives and servers?
Yes. Every drive we receive, including drives inside servers and storage arrays, is erased with a certified data-wiping process or physically destroyed if it fails. A data destruction certificate is available on request. You are welcome to wipe drives before shipping as well.
Is there a minimum quantity?
No fixed minimum. A single server, GPU or a handful of memory modules is fine. For low-value items such as cables or small accessories we prefer lots, because freight would otherwise exceed the value of the goods.
Which countries do you buy from?
We buy from businesses in Australia and the United States, and we arrange freight within those two countries. If you are elsewhere, send your list anyway: for larger lots we can still quote with you covering shipping.
How do you pay?
By bank transfer: EFT in Australia and ACH or wire in the United States, within 2 business days of the goods being received and checked. We can pay in AUD or USD.
How do you work out prices?
Each part number is priced against current resale demand, condition and quantity. Our offer is firm once the goods match the list you sent; if a line differs on arrival we tell you before paying and you can have those items returned.
Can you handle a full data-centre or office decommission?
Yes. For bulk decommissions we quote from your asset list, provide packing guidance or send a crew for larger sites, arrange pallet freight and supply a full itemised report with serial numbers after receipt.
Which brands do you buy?
All major enterprise brands: Cisco, HPE, Dell, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Ubiquiti, Samsung, Micron, Hynix, Kingston, Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Seagate, Western Digital, Lenovo and Supermicro, among others. If your brand is not listed, send the list and we will tell you.
Who pays for shipping?
We do. Once you accept a quote we email a prepaid shipping label for parcels, or book a courier pickup for pallets and racks in Australia and the United States. Please pack memory, CPUs and drives in anti-static bags.
